THE JOURNEY OF TEARSA Poem by EMMIE
Tears travel from the Motherland
Oh Africa, oh Africa The land from which we came Tears trickle down On the red white and blue And as they fall they morph Into blood sweat and pain Tears drop down On fluffy white fields And when they hit the surface They brake into a million voices Powerful enough to lift mountains Yet bound by the chains of hate Tears roll out of women with no choice And then they grow into children Bound by the chains of hate Forced onto the fluffy white fields With blood sweat and pain They'll honor the red white and blue Tears travel from the Mother Land Oh, Africa oh, blood! © 2016 EMMIEReviews
