THE CORPSE BRIDEA Poem by EMMIE
Here comes the bride
Ready for the clutch of the man she resents Sold to this monster To pay off the debts She walks as if the world underneath her crumbles And she really hopes it would A child with no childhood Deprived of what's rightfully hers Thirteen years old Forced to grow up in one night And in one night Her innocence will fly away Never to be seen again A child and a man Old enough to be her father Soon his hands would forcefully explore The anatomy that God gave her Here comes the bride A corpse but still alive © 2015 EMMIEReviews
