Ha ha ha! Thank you!
I see that you have a valid point in pointing out
the materialism and sexual immorality and glamorization of guns portrayed in rap music.
It is a shame and it does injustice to rap as a creative genre.
But it also shows how our society as a whole is accepting sin as a norm.

Yet, it must be said, if we consider ourselves genuine writers,
then we have a responsibilty and a moral duty to ourselves
and to the people at large,in general. This means the objective portrayal of truth
when it is done from a critical point of view.
This also portrays our creativity, knowledge and understanding as writers or poets,
since our true aim is to inform, entertain as well as imparting knowledge,
but most importantly educate people. That's our moral duty.
The Creator of Heaven and Earth is the Creative One
who created us in our various hues and personalities.
Therefore, if we, His Creation, who are supposed to be creative like Him,
engage in a creative endeavour such as writing poetry
which we are blessed with, we should do it with
Love and Truth as our guiding principles like Our Heavenly Creator.

However, are we being fair when we point the fingers at rappers only.
Or are we looking for only one scapegoat?
Hollywood is doing and has been doing the same thing for decades
The explicit, sexual degradation of women has been normalized by Hollywood,
which is the most influencial visual medium on Earth.
What about T.V adverts that use sex subliminally and most oftentimes
obviously to sell everyday things like soaps, shower gels and soda drinks.
Sex is being used in the promotion and advertisement of products and companies
on mainstream T.V. in broad daylight when kids are obviously watching T.V.
This means that Hollywood is massively responsible for the glamorization of guns,
the sexual degradation of our women, the corruption of our kids' mind
and the subsequent rise in crime on the streets.

What about reality T.V.s and all these superstars wannabe promoting sexual immoralities,
stupid bickerings, swear words, foul language, insults, bestiality... and many more
other immoral behaviours which are then internalized by our children's vulnerable minds?
Who complains when super hoes like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Lady Gaga
and many more other immoral women display sexual immorality as an example for our daughters
to follow? Why is it that a woman is nowadays considered a star simply for sleeping with a famous guy
or for deliberately making a sex tape? What happened to the time
when people were truly considered icons or stars for their hardwork
which was inspirational in a moral sense?

Therefore a planetary petition should be gathered against these Record Companies
who make the millions and billions of dollars and deliberately encouraging artists
to engage in and promote all the above mentioned immoralities.
For it they who are the generals and artists are like blind soldiers who follow orders.
Most oftentimes these artists are forced to choose that way or be face with poverty
of everyday life circumstances. The morally weak ones accept the Company's orders,
and thus we have the immoralities we see today.
And this same princinple accurately applies to Hollywood, the news media
and the T.V. companies.
They encourage artists and film actors to do this
since it's a business market for them to make billions in revenue.
In the meantime they don't give a f**k about the effect on our innocent children,
our precious women and our vulnerable men.
Their excuse is: 'That's what the people want.'
So we as a people have a moral duty to challenge the root cause of the problem.
And as creative people we have a moral duty to the people to portray truth
in every sense, objectively,
in LOVE in our true motive.

Ha ha ha! Thank you!
There are a lot of things I could say about the issues you've brought up here, but the thing that bothers me the most right now is the normalcy of rape culture in our entertainment....where it is acceptable to take advantage of women who are in altered states of consciousness or use them as sex slaves to pass around to all of your friends to take turns with after your are done. Yeah, the drugs and guns annoy me. So does the thanking of God for the inspiration to write 60 mins of shooting up everything in sight until the clip is empty and then reloading to shoot the dog too.

The irony of this entire poem is that, within all of the sarcasm in your display of how ridiculous this behavior is...this extremity in it's nature is what those who behave in this way are dreaming they could possess. In my opinion, this paradox should be called "The Emmie Effect."

Sadly, this is pretty accurate to what mainstream hip hop has become. It's an unfortunate reflection of the standards we have come to accept. Major corporations run the industry and the artist has become the puppet, his fans are merely indulging in what we have come to associate with success. Hopefully, the tables will turn again soon and restore balance. This are many hip hop artists who are buried beneath the propaganda and are screaming to be heard. Nice write!
