"BLOOM"

"BLOOM"

A Poem by SheWhoWillNotBeNamed
"

I found it on my computer today. Totally forgot about it. I love it. It was written during a chilly autumn evening. The poem shows how easily the mood can be changed if the right people are around us.

"

“BLOOM”

The inside is dark and cold.

The old heater doesn’t work.

I’ve got nobody to hold,

And I’ve just broken a fork.

The outside is not better;

ALL because of the weather.

NOBODY hanging around,

Red leafs lying on the ground.

EVERYTHING gets on my nerves;

The techno party next door,

The dog scowling on the floor,

The lack of kisses and hugs,

Having too many blue mugs…

***************************************

Then somebody hits the lights,

Turning the inside into a paradise.

Pushing against the warm heart,

I shiver, but not because of the heater.

My silverware is now mend,

But I do not remember how it all went.

The outside doesn’t matter at all,

I realized the weather is because of the fall.

Mother Nature has her own cycle,

Making yellow, dead leafs easy to recycle.

My life is no longer gray,

Because I caught a glimpse of that bright and warm sun’s ray…

I loved the images.

I like it! It starts out making you feel cold and gray, but then toward the end you feel up beat, warm and cozy!
