Kristi

Kristi

A Poem by butt3rflie gurl

All my friends seem to drift away.

People tend to be my friend

And then they begin to stray.

To me, friendships shouldn’t end.

They stay for about a week or two,

Then” poof”’, they're gone like that.

Made me feel a little Blue

When all alone I sat.

It’s hard to keep friends.

Believe me, I know.

Some friendships quickly end

And I don’t have time to grow.

But there is this one.

She's like a little sister.

Yes, there is this one

And I very deeply miss her.

With blondish hair and hazel-blue eyes,

Shortish of stature, thin and beautiful,

She's kind, compassionate, noble and wise.

Our inside jokes are very plentiful.

It is hard keeping friends.

Believe me I know.

But Kristi’s love never ends.

I’ll never let her go!
