Sea Cliff

Sea Cliff

A Poem by Rayne

A lone silhouette emblazoned in red.
Long Black tendrils, fighting not wind.
Sea spray wetted bangs, obstructing her view.
Upon the craggy cliff of seagull born waves.
~
Rhythmic drums beat, awaiting her descent.
Single step forward will bring her doom.
A swivel of foot, back meets waves,
The lady in red breathes another day.
~
Haunting melody, pipes upon the wind,
Calling for another to take up its tune.
Come from the edge, red dress blows the other way.
Step to the soft green, away from the blue wet.
