The SuicideA Poem by Butchy10
If we should become what we hate,
Someone save me before it's too late, I'll take a gun have it meet my head, Someone save me or soon I'll be dead, You're in the position to end it, I plead don't worry it'll be quick, You'refrozen in one spot but I still know, It only takes one shot, Pull the trigger and make it go away, Then I'll leave this life for good, Say goodbye to the sunset in May, It only takes one shot, say I should, Farewell my lovely, farewell my dear, Don't miss me darling, I'll always be here, When I'm away you must still be strong, there's nothing left for me, it all feels wrong, So lock your windows and shut your door, When your beaten heart breaks, you'll only want more, I'm gone now baby, I've broken your trust, Soon I'll be no more than ashes and dust, I drag my heavy feet to my desk and sit, I contemplate consequences and cry for a bit, I open the drawer and take out a box, Pull the trigger and I stop the clocks, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, I'm a coward as you can see, What type of man would take his own life? I'm a coward, I'm a coward, what more could I be?
