Abstract Anxiety

Abstract Anxiety

A Poem by Melaniespace
"

Poetry in the style of metal lyrics about dreaming with anxiety and having it not totally make sense.

"

Abstract anxiety,

Forcing its way into me,

I don’t sleep to dream,

But cerebral activity centers heads in front of me!

What a nightmare!

To wake in despair!

Too tired to wake,

But fearful to take

One last doze cuz who knows what make peak,

This time around its work in catching z’s,

My dreams are me slipping into failure.

Nothing compiles to a solid figure.

Wrist cramped and twisted like a schizophrenic,

Why can’t calm editions replace this hectic

Feeling of disasters trailing me like slaughter,

Destine to perdition in gallons of  bloody water.
