Melatonin Dreams

Melatonin Dreams

A Poem by Melaniespace

A corn maize for dreams,
I am lost in a variety of tents,
Dispatched in a series of enigmas,
Tips received in exchange for cleansed faces of the elderly,
"Don't call me out!"
My disease is my ladder to climb,
And my goals are my own to fail,
Not all consume stuffed swordfish uterus as a delicacy,
I'll take the twin bridge to the west,
In attempt to cleanse myself of this mess,
The fear in me weeps for change,
Your sincerity calmly grasps my hand,
And my soul is not so alone.
