The Kid in Me Bleeds Demons Free

The Kid in Me Bleeds Demons Free

A Poem by Melaniespace

misguided your mind this time,
in my acts of self to spite yours,
I was disturbed in my slumber,
And awoke you to ponder,
This somber tragedy,
My dreams eat and feast,
To depths that consume memory,

I gave into Roger,
And he stole my soul,
I gave into Roger,
My sanity off the road,
I gave into Roger,
This attack unfolds,
I gave into Roger,
God save my soul.

Racing ghosts, in my mind,
No function easy to control,
I wished for normality,
Construed of popularity,
It's something i didnt want
but the void displeased,

Now i lie here 22 gonna be, no where fast,
Battling this coma,
Eager for self survival,
I grabbed you by the leash,
Instead of by the hand.

The deception of power,
i wanted a piece,
to make up for the years i missed out
ontop of the hierarchy.

Forgive me I'll always cheerish you.
