These Walls

These Walls

A Poem by Ruminating Archaeologist
"

forgot I wrote this, and found it when writing down another poem

"
the fog this morning is slowly rolling in,
or back, it's hard to tell
sky is lighting up with colors;
etching back the black of night.
embracing music: it lifts my spirits,
whisks away my troubles for now-
just for now, because they'll be back quickly,
but right now I'll pretend it won't collapse again
