Frozen In Place

Frozen In Place

A Poem by Ruminating Archaeologist
"

I really want a t-shirt that says, "Screw Switzerland, I'm Antarctica." Because I am Antarctica.

"
I feel like a jumbled mess
of emotions
concerned with where I'm going
and what I've got in front of me
It's hard for me to care
or maybe think
about the possibilities
of what I can do
doing what I can
so maybe things will be better then
so maybe things will be better than
they used to
I've been used, too
getting used to it
hard to say
if I could deal with it some more
than the weight I carry now
I'd rather not
all I ask is how
it came to this

Since 8th grade, I've been writing and I honestly can say I've improved. My deviant art account is normally where I'm stationed, and I use it frequently. I also have a fanfiction.net account, and I'm .. more..
