Lost Asylum Labyrinth

Lost Asylum Labyrinth

A Poem by Ruminating Archaeologist
"

thoughts and stuff in my head. well I was right...heh.

"
I seem to be trapped in my own thoughts
in my own words, they sound as they echo
around the cavity of my head
which is diseased with chaotic ramblings of
a psychotic killer
driving the knife deeper
into their self, destroying everything
they've ever known, what they hold now
in the palms of their hands
poisoned wine, delicious yet deadly soporific
a silent wish and a tearful prayer
falling slowly as if in a dream
nothing making any sense
between pages of blank books
burning ever so silently
your entire being slowly rotting away
lost
in a mansion of memoirs
of scattered hopes
lost
as walls cave in and you're shoved
down into this deep, dark abyss
never-ending
worthless thoughts
are ending never
stuck in your labyrinth
your lost asylum
