Strangers Like Me

Strangers Like Me

A Poem by Ruminating Archaeologist
"

You know that song by Phil Collins, off the Disney movie Tarzan? The poem doesn't really have anything to do with it, and the idea for the title popped in my head, and now the song's stuck in it :).

"
I want to know you,
but they don't know me,
and I don't even know myself.
Hard to think, when all the questions in my head
don't make any sense to me.
The messages you send the world,
you're different yet the same.
Can't I see, can't you show me,
what I'm truly missing
