Life A First Time Journey For Me

 

This life a first time journey for me, sorrow blinds me from the happiness I would seek.

Yet I may choose from the blessing I would see.  Will my eyes see the wonders that await for me?

Good is waiting for me in this world of misery.

Teach to me once more the story of him who came for me.

While we wait for the blessed wintertime so we may rest, from the harvesting.

Within the quiet heart something stirs.

Then softly the wind in the leaves seems to say good is coming your way, good is coming your way.

A simple girl to plain to view looks upwards to the sky so bright, so blue.

At that moment I turn back and gaze upon her view.

What in the sky could cause such a glowing upon its observer without her knowing?

From heaven’s descending light, God to her his love is sending.

I look and see him; it is so true, so true. 

He is searching for us. 

He is coming; He is coming to find us. 

Wait here, Wait here.

My heart is beating for he is coming.

See the shadows scatter, fleeing from his light.

Lord lift me to greet you, let me be near you.

Lord say the words I long to hear.

I love you, I love you whispers through the air.
