Sleepy Head

Sleepy Head

A Poem by Buddy

Buddy's head

  lays on my feet,

both they and he

  are fast asleep.

Like windmills go

  his little feet,

looks like he's found

  a flock of sheep.

So there he lays

  so very sweet,

and Oh, so ever jolly.

  My Buddy boy

is quite the treat,

  this sleepy Border Collie.

I can certainly relate to this vivid imagery! I have a Pit-Bull (who is a gentle giant) - no sooner does he close his eyes, he's whimpering, wagging his tail & shaking his legs. I often wonder, what on earth he's dreaming about.

Love this poem. Reminds me of my dogs dreaming which I get such a kick out of.

Buddy is very adorable. I see why you love him so. I posted picture of my boys in my photos section.
