They say art can captivate you like no other

Draw you into some surreal fantasy world,

Invoke mental recollections and newfound emotions.

 

They tell me art is a mixture of colors,

Properly choreographed, varied movements,

A sweet cacophony of cymbals and kazoos.

 

It’s rumored that art provokes thought,

Plays with the mind through deceptions and deviances

Reveals its true nature after an eternity of staring.

 

I have heard that art is to be experienced from afar,

Remain untouched, untainted,

And sometimes uncaptured.

 

You must be art.

Yes, I guess.
