The Revised Sorrow Series.. No.27

A Poem by Thomas B. Buckman
"

This is everything about nothing. It is amazing what a little beer and boredom do to you.

"
Smells so sweet
not like flowers
She got me beat
Too many powers

This life I live
Almost alone.
No calls to give,
I cling to the phone.

I sit I wait
One person calls
She wants to date?
My heart falls

No she says
But its okay
Ill be fine
It's just another day

Used to pain
Sorrow, my friend
Just watch the moon wane
Everything ends.

So I write to you
My good friend sorrow
For now I am blue
But I wont be tomorrow

Tomorrow is bliss
Tomorrow will shine
For I have my pen
and bottle of wine

These are the days blue and dreary..
But beware, my friend, try to be cheery...
For they don't you to prosper, the powers that be...
The ugly karma, just wait and see..
Be nice to those around you, don't you pout...
It's nothing that can't be fixed with a good stout.

Moderation is the key.
