A Poem by Thomas B. Buckman
"

An awkward poem.

"

Too bad
Too bad we dont know
Too bad we dont know better
Too bad we cant
Too bad we cant overcome

Overcome this
this hypocracy
This Hypocracy of Democracy
The Democratic Dictatorship

They know
They know what we are
They know we are sheep on our way to slaughter
They know you cant spell slaughter withought laughter
They made the word
They made the word of the lord to their fitting
Translators, paid, made to do what was
Made to do what was misleading
Cant stop the bleeding
Mindlessly feeding
On their word.

The masses have the power
The masses have the power to destroy
The masses have the power to destroy what is wrong
The masses are dumbed down
The television mind f**k.

We are
We are nothing
We are nothing without false protection
We
We are strong
We the many, the masses out to get themselves.

We
We can
We can destroy
We can destroy the crooked
We
We are
We are destroying
We are destroying ourselves.
This governmental mind f**k.
This Democratic Dictatorship
This America.

There is
There is no truth
There is no truth between the lines.
Nothing but lies

Um, I am not really sure what I was getting at here, but it was a quick write, with random ideas thrown in.

For a quick write, the word " Damn" comes to mind. This is outstanding. Oh I hear this as a fierce spoken word. Whether one adheres to your thoughts or not, your delivery is excellent. Truly, one of the best I've read here. Made me want to say "Right on".

Well even if you didnt know what you were getting at, you made a strong point. Kind of reminds me of the Pledge of Alligiance, one wed be required to spout today at our workplaces and such. =]
