After all

After all

A Poem by buckeyebren
"

a barren wife faces a nightmare

"
Sitting her down with the tear in his eye
she fears the moment but guides him to his feat
"I need more"
she waits and holds her breath. Is it what she fears?
"I want children"
the words pierce her heart
she knew this day would come
when her barren womb would not be good enough for him
There are no tears
she tells him she understands
he has the right to his own choices
he has not chosen her
after 16 years
she had noticed he was further away
but now he wants to be his own man again
she will have her freedom
when all she wants is her husband

This is a coincidence. I'm justn now reading a book dealing with a wife who does not want divorce. Good job.
