This is from an 8th grade english assignment, written right after my bf dumped me. I often get over guys through either poetry or, well, finding a better guy ;)

Dumped

I miss you so much.
Can’t say how much.
Cuz you don’t care anymore.

You ditched me.
You dumped me.
Still don’t know why,
Can’t ask you,
Cuz you won’t even look.

Just want to know
What I did wrong.
Was I to pushy?
Too slow?
Or just too weird?

You ditched me.
You dumped me.

Should I make an effort
To tell you how I feel?
Or just pass a note?
But no,
I must deny my feelings.
Must deny my feelings,
Can’t, STOP! (Pause.)

Fine, you win,
I can’t make you happy,
Can’t get you back.
I’ll just have to face it.
It’s over.
And now I’m over you.

I liked it. It's very emotional and flows well. The repetition is used effectively and efficiently and adds something to the piece. I think it's something a lot of people can identify with and it's written well.
