Who Am I?

Who Am I?

A Poem by Jen

Look at that

in the mirror

a girl with dark brown hair

with pale skin

Who is she?

Walking back and forth

to school and home

and all around

Who is she?

Hiding her smile

the rare times she done

where are her emotions

Who is that girl?

hides in the shadows

hard to find

not caring much

about anything anymore

but who is she

I am her

but who am I?

Author's Note

Jen
This poem is much of how I feel about myself. Who am I?
I see myself, but then I wounder, who the girl really is.
I try to find what things I like, only become frustrated
I think about who I was, long ago
But that girl is a stranger
Who am I now?

Dear Girl,

I would try to find you , but I am running all over
the place looking for myself.
When I get a better idea who you might be
I will immediately get in touch and
you do the same for me.

Human kind evolves, once you were this kind of person, but due to surroundings and the enviorment we change again. Nice write.

No one knows who they really are.
If you could honestly discover that, you'd have achieved something no one else really could. Self-discovery is one of the hardest things one could do. Even harder to do so intentionally.
We are an amalgom of things; simultaneously more and less than we think we are. A paradox, no?

For we all wonder that at times who are we, what are we now for I feel like that also, when I look at myself in the mirror.
