Memories

 

Push them away

they'll only come back again

these painful memories

that are long since past

But still sharp as daggers

to stab when your weak

stalking your each  and every step

mocking you

that it's still there

Run far and wide

hid in the safest place

it will find you there

haunting you till your last breath

So try to lock them away

far in the back of mind

it will still haunt

even after the day you die

We just have to substitute some good memories,
that`s what the psychoanalysts do, so I`m told.
Where would you like to start ? With childhood,
then you go through school, you got through and
that was a good memory, or you flunked out and
did`nt have to go any more, that was a good memory.

There must have been a boy, the one you really liked.
I know there is a good memory in there somewhere.
How about when you discovered that you are a good
writer-----Now, that was good !

You are an exceptionally good writer. I know, because
I`m good , but you are much better.

Well, since it's already been critiqued...I'll just say...I like it.

Two tiny errors: I think the first "your" should be "you're" Or maybe "you are" for a better rhythm, and "Hid" should be "hide."
Other than that, this is pretty nice, if not a bit too general. I'm not really feeling it on this one, sorry.
