Shadows in LightA Poem by JenWhere is the joy that I felt when I was I young What happened to the happy days playing in the warm sun Why did the laughter withered away and died only to be replaced by weeds with sharp thorns This world that I view was so happy and warm where one can learn and grow and be free to wounder where ever the pleased but the sun has gone black clouds fill the sky and cold rain steadily falls freezing all it touch A dark moon shines gray dim light through the thick clouds as if mocking the sun Even in the warm days whee the sun is brave enough to show when few flowers of laughter dare to grow when a soft breeze becoms gental to the touch the gloom is still their still showdows in the light © 2009 JenAuthor's Note
