dragon

unexpected

"
goblins and trolls?
no this story does not hold
this is about a dragons lair
billowing smoke clouds
constant in the air
the fiery blasts of molten death
spouting with its graveyard breath
a creature living in a cursed hole
guarding the mountains immortal soul
you reign down fire like a parade
on helpless villages that you invade
through the trails of ashes and soot
i see the bones of the thousands you took
following the destruction to your realm
braving my feelings
letting courage take the helm
small and hopeless im sure i must look
hoping this ends well like a fairy tale book
feeling the temp slowly change
i know im close and within her range
assuring myself i wont fall to dust
but your treasures i cant help but to lust
an epic battle soon to rage
but youll only see shackles and a cage
the next corner i turn only to find
you staring at me shocked and terrified
im mesmerized by your impressive size
huge talons and fire licked eyes
your head snaps back and flames explode
tickling over my scales as they roll
through the fire her eyes i hold
our love will b eternal and never cold
