lumberjack

"
The sun shined down to the tree tops
I tried to climb up but near the top got stuck
The view I saw was unmatched 
Worthy of its freedom, but I forgot myself and slipped fast
Catching myself on the way down
A new look to the top but a sadness 
The view I enjoyed and thought would last 
Was terribly impossible now due to my crash 
Branches cracked and twisted looking unsure
I stray back as close as I dare
Telling my heart to keep it in 
But I will never feel that high again 
I cant go back there but will be close enough
Stuck in the plain zone with dreams of the bluffs
