ancestorA Poem by bubblefetfeeling
I walk through the woods, it's winter and blasting death
I kneel to tie my gear and the wind stops around me It moves up the tree to the tree tops where it spits and sputters It's musical, my heart starts a baseline and the music speeds I'm running, now chasing the wind as it dances away with the snow The trees break and the ground disappears and I find myself watching the wind vanish into the light that's broken through the emotionless grey sky to shine on the valley below A sense of belonging overcomes me
