Unholy Devotion

Unholy Devotion

A Poem by Brandy Alexander

Let me just feed for a moment on your sweet forked tongue

Lap at the venom and rot to your core

Drown me in your rotten guts

Let me be your nothing

Your nothing

Your nothing

Let me be your nothing.

For you were my king of dusk

Let me be your bride of dawn, once more

Tell me that you’ll never leave me

Leave me then, wanting more

Make me your w***e

You’ll be the one I forever adore.

My damaged messiah, how I’ve longed for your return

Allow me to kiss your stigmata and relieve the brutal yearn

I want to bring this ship ashore

Into your tarnished sea

I don’t care what’s right anymore

I want what’s bad for me.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, i.. more..
