Enlightend Madness

Enlightend Madness

A Poem by Brandon
"

Questions upon Questions, with out a real answer.

"
What is in a moment? I couldn’t tell you but you could, I would assume, be able to tell me, right? Why am I so sure of the fact you would be able to tell me what was in a moment whereas I am sure that I wouldn’t be able to tell you? The answer to this is simple and yet complex, because everyone is more sure of others than they are of themselves. Are parents the cause of this conceptual boundary that is not so intentional? Is society the influence that makes us believe others over ourselves? I couldn’t be sure, but I bet you could be sure couldn’t you? Why am I so sure of this? Because whatever the cause of our misconception that others should be trusted over ourselves, it will be there till our dying breath. Wouldn’t you agree? If you wouldn’t agree, then what do you believe? Here I am again talking to myself although by societal standards I am not crazy, or am I? Who creates the definition of crazy? What gives them the right, why not me, or you, or us? Who created the word lust what makes it substantially defined as what others perceive it to be? I use others loosely because them and her would make others, but are they classified as others when separated? I would suggest no or we would all be a separate other, and that would be silly. Or are we all others? is the label of names and titles just a formality of disguise so that we don’t refer to each other as just her and him? Why can’t we be rude, more like an animal? Are animal’s polite? Are the formalities the things that make us more polite, isn’t it just a façade, the names? Then wouldn’t that make us more rude not less? I question you this.

Great write. Love the questions you pose here, like who defines crazy? For me, definition does not exists without comparison, so I suppose who defined it would be the one who compared himself and several to someone different and based the definition off of that. But that's just one case, as everyone has the power for comparison. Anyway, enough rambling on my part. Good work, enjoyed reading it.
