Lone Wolves Love

Lone Wolves Love

A Poem by Bryce Simonds
"

8th poem I wrote

"

As a lone wolf howls
Yet there lies another
Laying on the rock near the lake
It too is howling

Lit by the full moon singing its sad song
It moves on through the night
All it wants is someone to take care of it
All it wants is some love

So it wonders off into the night
Never again to be seen
There is no more howling in this forest
No more loneliness is here

But in the far off distance
A howling melody of love is heard
The lone wolves are no more
They have found one another
They have found their love

Be careful to avoid too many "its"...or, if writing a personal poem, too many "I"s and "my"s etc.

"Lit by the full moon, singing its sad song,
the wolf moves on through the night.
All it wants is someone to take care of it;
All the wolf wants is some love." (still a few too many of the same words, but at least you can alternate between wolf and it).

I like how you've placed the concept of love into different surroundings, using wolves as characters instead of humans.

Nicely done.
As always, i suggest a bit of punctuation...but you're probably sick of that by now? Lol.

Thanks for posting this.
