young love

young love

A Poem by Bryan W. Wilson

Oh tender sweet girl

You are as the  peach

Firm and sweet that I can not eat

Or to abide the touch of such a fruit

to my lips to meet

Your nectar to savor

i would go insane to defoliate

Such a blossom as you

and yet you bring to eye such a sight

Of wanton heart and heat

bare with  me awhile and sit and tell me your dreams

So that may reflect upon you awhile longer

I'm just a tried old warrior that has lost his own

But lets not speak of it, tell me yours with a smile for me

And not look on me, for I like Cyrino De Bursurac

Conceal my love and heart beat and pain

Speak no more mind let the girl speak

Hide your heavy heart
