The Colour Fool

The Colour Fool

A Poem by Bryan_Himmel
"

Quick little dabble just writing and seeing where it went.

"
She said to me
forgiveness is of the weak
whispering treachery
lips softly outlining
where marks would fall
from the knife at my back

held my hand
lend me in
deeper, around another bend
fingers gripping into a heart
that's never fought
I'm a w***e to be bought

love me, hate me
cast me away
just promise to make best
how you use, abuse, consume
I gladly part from my soul
as long as it serves you

they coloured me the fool
I pitied how they knew
the tragedies that ensue
bliss makes love so grand
truth has a way of ruining the land
lies, deception, and clever conceptions

faith, forlorning, agony and torment
embrace it all again
just a taste to bring me
back to life again
my heart is yours to rent
I promise you its cheap.
