I Know No One

Do you know anyone?

I know No One,
Even my Friends.
I know No One,
Even Myself.

I know No One,
Even this world.
I know No One
Up to this Contemporary Period.

Who am I?
Who are you?
Who are they?
Who are we?

I can know one
if I know myself.
Problem is,
I don't know myself.

Time and Space,
significant life elements.
Both are necessity
in seeking my identity.

I've spent days of thoughts.
Struggles turn further difficult.
To solve the mystery
which condemns my simple identity.

Knowing thyself
is hard indeed.
However nice,
For heart and mind
with peace and tranquillity.

Halt and Behold
Emotions too deep.
Uncover precarious fantasy
which hinders painful reality.

Experiences and deeds
embedded in life and mind.
Put aside for a while
to unfold the treacherous identity.

To know others,
one must know thyself.
'Cause knowing yourself
is knowing others.

this is like the combinations of my past poems/quotes Like : be yourself and how will you love yourself... All in alll we all know ourself its just a matter of acceptance on who you really are... we are who we are and no one can change that except you... A well done write!

Unique poem. Well thought out and composed.

As others have already said we only know ourselves and others to the extent of what we have sensed about ourselves and others to date. We are all progressively becoming ourselves and will continue until we die. So to that extent; yes, I know myself and others.

Isn't is fascinating that we are continually becoming who we will eventually be? Even couch potatoes are in a state of flux; becoming who they will ultimately be. This is my interpretation of your poem: "I Know No One." Am I close?
