"Life is ... Life"

life's true essence.....

Life's so ironic.

We used to love persons who don't love us

and ignore those who care for us.

 

Life's full of foolish decisions.

We used to love someone

even if we know that it'll always end up in pain.

 

Life's so difficult,

Knowing that it is a total struggle.

It'll never be too easy.

 

Life is fun.

Even though there are problems,

still there are lots of reasons to smile.

 

Life is everything.

It is the best gift for us to receive,

and the best challenge for us to overcome.

 

Life is life.

Don't expect too much or less from it.

We were only given two choices to make.

Take it or live it.

 

Live Life as it is suppose to be.

'Cause life is never perfect.

And because life has no Pause,

no reverse, and no fast forward,

let's just play it right.

Dear bryandc15,

Life is ironic for so many reasons. But the irony comes from us. Life is uncaring and blind. We supply the irony in our interpretation of life. And there is so much. You touch upon this very subject when you point out that we, the living, have so many expectations regarding live. We have problems, we can have fun. A lot of this is our own interpretation. Without the proper attitude there can be no fun in life. And this is variable from person to person. Also the fortunes of life are variable from person to person. Some are born wealthy, some poor. Some are born with terrible diseases, an unfortunate fate that often defeats even the most positive of attitudes. So what is life? I think you say it: "Life is life". There is really little else to say.

I like the style you used in this piece. First line of each stanza was a bold statement supported by the following lines. That's a very captivating style. I used a similar style on one of my piece titled "Rap de la Rue": I used questions at the end of each stanza to help solidify the point made in each stanza. Keep it up! nice work.

I like "Life is ...Life". Just when you think you've read all there is about life; POW Bryan writes "Life is .. Life" and we have a fresh take on Life.

Just a couple of things:

'persons who don't love us' ? line # 2
'take it or leave it' ? line # 19
'life has no Pause, no Reverse and no Fast Forward' ?

It sounds good, reads good and feels good. Great job.
