Paper Heart-Part II

Paper Heart-Part II

A Poem by B.E. Gonzales
"

Even from a distance, she shaped my paper heart.

"

You drew your dreams

Onto my paper heart

Your every hope

Your every wish

My heart was your diary

I would listen to you

On the phone all night

I would keep every call

In my heart

My soul was your canvas

What was once a blank soul

An empty soul

Now burns with festive colors

Colors, wild and bright

Move me everyday

Shaking me when I forget you

Embracing me when I love you

I like this very much. It has been a long time since I have felt anyone "draw their dreams" on my heart and you have portryed the feelings so very well. Kudos. ~Jim
