My all time favourite piece of music....

Such a haunting melody that floats over the passage of time

Evocative … causing images to fill my mind….

A steamy rainforest is conjured up at will

And the peaks of the Himalayas rise evermore

It reaches my soul as the notes sing deep inside

I feel the warmth of the Caribbean and the cold of the Antarctic combined

Amazing things are happening in my mind as I let the music flow

It brings me warmth and peace ….

And an eternal view…

Heaven drifts before me ..with a promise of eternity

The notes carry me above the clouds .. taking me to the sun

Away from earthly feelings .. into a world of maybe and possibly

Of beauty and tranquility …

I am at peace ………………….

The guitar sings a soliloquy to itself …

Lifting me into a world of contentment …

Saving my mind .. filling my very being

I am the strings as the music swells ….

I am .. Albatross………….

Anything by Fleetwood Mac is alright in my book. Your words take me to places and I am taken away by their beauty. I'm going to see Stevie Nicks in June by the way! She's my favorite artist.

When I read the name, I thought it'd be the 'Sanders' version of the poem - Rime Of The Ancient Mariner -.I read it in school and it was about a mariner killing an albatross.But the poem turned out to be totally different.It creates beautiful picture in the mind and for once I was not sitting on my chair but rather flying through the clouds and relishing the scenery.It has a great flow and the reading brings calm to the mind.I'll read it again again before I give my exam.I hope I score better.....

Beautiful Phil! So I just asked my husband, the music conniseur and master collector of the family, to play that tune for me, because I don't remember it off the top of my head. If he's awake, music is playing at our house. He said he would add it to our 'playlist' soon - he said it's one of his favorites too!
