A Visionary Dawning

A Visionary Dawning

A Poem by Phil Sanders
"

Spring is on its way ...

"

The radiant incandescence

Of spring’s new birth and cheer
The warmth of bright new sunlight
As it starts to reappear
A bold reaffirmation
Of commitment in our Earth
A chance to feel again …
The wonder of our birth
As mist gives way to sunlight
As snow melts to new springs
The bird’s melodious laughter
Around our ears now sings
The feeling deep inside us
As we waken from the gloom
Despondency is lifted
It will be summer soon
And so … our spirits lifted
We approach the coming day
With a brighter … lighter vision
In each and every way

Amen to that, Phil. Spring is a bit later arriving here...more snow in the forecast for Friday, but your words bring reassurance that the season soon will come.

Uplifing and descriptive. There is something about the daffodil to brighten the hearts of all who see it.

No matter how dark the season - just the promise of spring brings a happy glow and a lighter heart

Thank you for this one Phil

I must say that whether it be the winter's long months or if it has to do with the fact that it is simply easier to write dark and sad poetry .... I was growing rather tired of it.... you obviously have the skills and abillities to lift the mood and write a beautiful and songlike poem of not only the changing of months but the renewal of hope in hearts and the promise of a better morrow .... well done! :)

A very uplifting piece which is immensely positive.

It makes you feel as warm as the sun beams on your window sill after the chilly winters.

Lovely.

The poem is just totally positive, very uplifting. We all get terrified by climate change but the daffodils do still pop up.
