Sunday Afternoon Walk

Sunday Afternoon Walk

A Poem by Phil Sanders
"

The joy of togetherness....

"
The wood’s alive with movement
And birdsong fills the sky
As Spring is round the corner
The sun is shining high
Its warmth upon our backs
Announces brighter days
And animals are scurrying
Around the leafy glades
Your arm around my waist
We wander through the trees
A moment of pure magic
With such a gentle breeze
We see the world so clearly
As now we walk as one
It lights the future pathway
Together to the sun
A kiss as love just beckons
For one we’ll always be
To share that joy together
Until eternity

Lovely poem, it's nice to know that men have wonderful romantic dreams like us girls too, gives us all hope that one day it might happen, or is that all it will ever be.......... dreams?? Beautifully written Phil

Beautiful because new love is always alive with a happy future just waiting to unfold, like a red carpet of love.
This is both inspiring and encouraging to me. :+)
