Every idea has been used before and this is a poem about it.

It's been said before

It's been written before

The idea is so over used

Yet we still abuse

We all keep coming back

As long as the idea sparks some kind of snack

I'll write you

The idea won't be originally true

Same title on the cover

Nothing new to discover

The same idea is boring

A new twist leaves me snoring

But I'll write you

I enjoyed reading this poem. It has a nice flow to it and touches on a topic I had many discussions over. Maybe there are no original ideas but it still leaves us with ideas which can be expanded, improved and it needn't be boring. Each individual is unique so wouldn't that make an old idea unique to each one of us? Don't know. Great read, thanks.
