Family

Family

A Poem by brucethemaster

Family is just a meaningless word anymore
A word that just escapes for nothing, but to bore
Have you bitched about something today?
Too much complaining makes my mind sway

Things change way too much
It passes us by and kicks us in the a*s
My life may be different tomorrow
But I won't feel sorrow

Sorry is to be taken with a grain of salt
The word matters little to them
And it's always followed by lies
The rip starts at the seam

Things always slip from our hands
Scream when the pieces shatter
I may fix it tomorrow
But I won't feel sorrow
