Augustan Sun

Augustan Sun

A Poem by Bruce

Days never end, the futility of seldom visits by my father

start a new life, friends are gone

sinking slowly

Living to vitiate the youth of America

ripped my favorite pair of jeans today

There is no God

Only silence

an unresponsive deity

muddled in the mire of the internet

p***y and drugs

I'd give it all up for a moment of grace

"Why don't you blog about it."

She said she wanted to sell her eggs on the internet

and no they weren't poached

7000 grand a pop

smoke another cigarette, can't seem to get cancer fast enough

probably die of heart failure anyway

wondering if it is painful

grimace in the sun

putrid smells

emanate

from within

I know I'm rotting from the inside
