The Blue Line

The Blue Line

A Poem by Bruce

stood there phone drained
1%
the volume blasts
ugly looks on
the
blue line
the redolence of timid summer girls
soooooo vivacious
and here I am maudlin
trying hard to not
make
eye
contact

linens
on my bed
unchanged
since you left
Little things
like
your f*****g Christmas Mug
laughing at me
as I struggle through this hangover
