Cigar Sensation

Cigar Sensation

A Poem by BrownJanelle

hello my poised friend

how sweet you welcome my longing desires

let us sit in the sun and take in this long awaited feeling

so sweet the fragrance of your being

long awaited

the embrace of your acceptance

so poisons partake

this final intake of breath

leaving my mind to wander the impossibilities of a lost friend

a lost love

to walk on air in the form of a tender hug

I will reflect the nights untold

but kept close to heart

and in the bitterly tasting last cigar

take me back

and forever seal the past

till our next time

because yes, there will be a next time.

What thoughts arise then

will only be found till then

the last cigar
