Come Walk With Me

Come Walk With Me

A Poem by Susan 🦋

Caressing warmth 'neath golden rays,

how blossoms thrive 'neath golden rays,

sweet solace to my tender heart

... come walk with me.

Soft meadow winds of kindest touch,

together smile 'n reminisce,

caressing warmth 'neath golden rays

... come walk with me.

Oh, moonlight calm, bespeckled night

flare up desires as heaven gleams.

Bright shines the path where love is blessed

... come walk with me.

You're welcome! :)
Dear Susan, not only do you subtly teach yet another form of writing but share your love for and in words! There are finely laid phrases and emotions interlaced that make for not only one read but another and time allowed, a third!

'Soft meadow winds of kindest touch,
together smile 'n reminisce,
caressing warmth 'neath golden rays
... come walk with me.'

How gently put, how genuinely romantic - how visual.

Many thanks for sharing so much, Susan.

Susan Dear 🥀
Such a wondrously enticing invite your lively dancing pen has proffered.

From fetching title to amorously chosen illustration, your beautifully rendered, gently-laid words of sheer wonderment respond perfectly to their intriguing hints for what's to come.
The ways your creative bent inspire deep emotion, vivid imagery, and imaginative delights ~ in moments spent in sweet amoré, build such a succulent crescendo one cannot help but sigh with poetic enthrallment.
Seems you've mastered the secret art of blending sensually undulating waves into your ink.

I've never known a Baccresiezé to be presented more illustriously or perfectly.
Thank you most warmly for the absolute thrill, Susan ⁓ Richard🖌

Aw thanks Will ( sorry I missed this review)
Your poem conjures up cheerfulness, romance and love. The form makes it neat and clean to look at. The punctuation keeps the rhythm intact.

A great job, Susan. :)

Oh boy… missing reviews right and left. Thanks for reading 😊
I really like your picture and your poem was equally captivating. The feeling of color is beautiful and that's what I felt here. Nicely penned. tyfs

Hi Susan,
I have away from reading, reviewing and sadly writing for over 6 weeks as I was quite sick.
I am so happy to be back doing all the above.
I really enjoyed your loving poem.
I loved reading “Come Walk With me” several times throughout you poem… I found the words to be heart warming.
I have not come across this style of writing poetry. So this is rather wonderful and I plan on spending time looking into it.
Thank you for sharing,
Lisa

Words filled with warmth. Visually beautiful as well as romantic. The repetition works very well. The form I do not know Susan, but I very much enjoyed this read. Happy new year to you.

Hi Chris! Thank you kindly for the lovely review! Happy New Year to you!
I haven't heard of this form, either, but I do like what you did with it.
The content does not get overridden by the form...
such warm sentiment expressed in a gentle verse.
