Romance and sensuality is a very popular theme. We all encounter it at some time. Most lack the eye to capture the essence of it. You have delivered this emotion so tenderly. Truly a beautiful poem .

There should be moonlight streaming down upon your words. It is all that is missing.

Goodness-ME, Susan!
This may well be your best love/romance/softly sensual poem to date, and it is in absolutely perfect form!
Some of the highly appealing aspects to your poetry are that it is so well thought out, written, presented, and enjoyed, that the highest accolades are most always deserved.
The one to whom you've penned this perfect "Lettre d' Amour" must be one helluva muse.
Thank you ever-so warmly for the honorable mention, Susan, and for using one of my forms to compose such sheer bliss ... "A Big New Year HUG!" ⁓ Richard ; )
A AAA+ on your card!

Thank you Richard for yet another fantastic review. I do appreciate it.
'.. Through gilded quill deep passions spill ... - enwrapt in sheer delight-- - poetic kiss to reminisce, -
desires 'neath candlelight. .. '
First comes the allure of the French title.. then, the page-drifting fall of beautiful language, Susan.
Your meter is first class, your phrasing more than fine, the sentiments are absolutely lovely.. and, if this is the recipe for perfect love, then -.this Eloquent Poem should be displayed about our world. Wonderful in every way.
