Doubledown Style (Fours 'n Sixes)

'Neath open eyes,

deep darkness lies,

and chills my depths of soul.

Entrenched within,

heartache held in--

shall faith my heart console?

Completely lost,

will broken, tossed--

my heart begins to pray.

Arms raised up high,

asked questions why--

concede, and beg your stay.

 Darkness shattered,

Shadows tattered--

black fading, shades to grey.

Grief-soothing peace,

forlornness cease--

clouds waning on this day.

Revealing love

from up above,

true love that holds me tight

now rides with me

when I can't see

my way through darkest night.

happens to me all the time...though it's usually some beautiful moment that captures my heart. Dew drops balanced on a blade of grass...I was totally lost in thought... or a smiling child so full of wonder or simply a rose bud blomming on a whilting plant. I have one in my garden... A lovely little rose bud that has simply forgot fall is here, and winter right around the corner. :-) thanks for reading and the reivew!
