Love's Sweet RevivalA Poem by Susan 🦋love poem...Transparent eyes that can't disguise this needless worry held herein … my heart’s reprise, once again tries to quell deep sorrows felt within.
Afraid to see, dare ask of me, this trodden soul to rescue you? I've heard your plea, can true love be meant for the broken to pursue?
Give me your hand, together stand against life’s crushing fears and doubt; with this demand, please, hear firsthand I yearn for love that’s true, devout.
Wrapped in my heart, hence from the start, such blessings come to restore me. God's work of art, I'll ne’er depart … with every moment, longed to see.
Of thoughts I've sighed, I’ll now confide; with every breath this love grows strong. Heartstrings untied, desires collide; all I am now … to you, belong.
Release your fears, cry no more tears, let rest your weary soul, and then; true love reveres, as through the years, together … let's live once again. © 2016 Susan 🦋
