Lesson Learned

Lesson Learned

A Poem by MaRmAlAdE

Strapped and ready you bend down for completion

Take the pain or lose the race is the only insistent decision

For cause, I know not what I speak

I only deliver the goods you seek

Take and take.  Is that your name?  Because it its not, it sounds the same as what it might be or could have been

Who could remember - when you ramble of nothingness and fill your heart with unpleasantness

You wear the emblem of pain on your shoulder and spread it like a disease or bad odor

I could smell you a mile away and even after I had a taste of you I wanted to stay

You are someone that I choose not to remember - Although the lesson you taught me will stay with me forever!

Great Job Self. This guy "Tim" was a piece of s**t.

Sometimes the best lesson learned is with some pain attached to it, or the hard way. Nice write.
