Citizen

Citizen

A Poem by The_Doctor
"

Not long ago i was forced to take a teacher survey regarding my teachers of the year. The last question was, "How do you think you're a good citizen in your class room." This question puzzled me.

"
They asked me, How are you a good citizen. I can't reply, i don't know why? I am forced to write, but writing is just not flowing. Am i really a citizen within a class, do i really have the rights of a citizen in school? I have never really felt like a person here, they, the teachers, try to keep us down, fight the man am i right? To be a citizen, i'm supposed to have rights, i'm supposed to be able to have freedom. School isn't giving me my basic human rights. I conformed to their wishes, if i didn't i'd be sleeping with the fishes. I was the proper student, basic, by the rules. "I do my homework in a timely manner, and sit quietly until spoken to." F**K, i feel like a robot.
