Louis serious? You've got to be joking!A Chapter by BrooklynIn Harry's point of veiw“I dreamt of her. I bloody dreamt
of her!” I probably shouldn’t have said that out loud, considering I’m sharing
a hotel room with Lou. He’ll never let me live it down. “Yeah, I did too. Worst nightmare
ever.” I stare at him wondering how any dream with her face could possibly be a
nightmare. Even the one where she rejected me. Oh, wait. That was real life.
“Drew scares the crap out of me,” he continues and I realize we’re talking
about different people. “Ari, Louis, I dreamt of Ari.” “Ohhh…” he smiles wickedly and
marches out the door and into the hallway. I should have just let him think
that it was Drew. “Ari and Harry siting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” he sings as
loud as he possibly can. “Thanks, Boo Bear. I appreciate
it.” I say sarcastically. “She’s staying
in the same hotel as us, you realize that right?” He stares at me for a long moment,
studying me. He knew me really well by know and so he could see something is
up. “You really like her, don’t you? I mean really
like her.” “I don’t know,” I sigh. “I just saw
her yesterday and I haven’t been able to get her out of my mind since. I even
dreamed about her.” “Get out, get out, get out of my
mind. And come into my life.” He sings. “Seriously, dude.” Louis puts on a
strait face so I continue. “The worst part it that I can never have her. She
has a boyfriend and I’ll never see her again.” “Oh.” “And I can’t get her out of my
mind. I need help, Louis.” “Get out, get out, get out of my
head and fall into my arms instead.” I can’t believe I didn’t see that coming.
I glare at him and he stops singing. “If it makes you feel any better, I’ve always thought you
needed help, Harry.” I growl escapes my throat. Usually
I love the guy. But right now I was too unsure of what’s going on. I mean, why
is my heart hammering so fast when I think of her? It only does that during
horror movies. “Okay, I’ll help you find her"I
mean it can’t be that hard, right? "After I tell the boys that our little Haz
has fallen in love.” “Really, Lou?” Is that necessary?”
I say. Moaning with embarrassment as I picture their reactions. “Yes, Harry, it is.” Still in his
boxers, Louis runs into Zayn’s room across the hall. Than all I hear is Zayn
saying, “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!” and
I run out of the hotel room, trying to get to Niall and Liam’s before they do. I block it and grab the doorway so
that there is no possible way they could enter. Except for, well, barging
through me. Which is what they do. “Nooo!” I howl. Lou wakes them up
and I tackle him to the ground. “Let me up!” He mumbles into the
carpet. “Never!” But there is one little
flaw in this plan. Zayn knows too. There is absolute silence for a
moment after the words leave his mouth. Then Niall starts laughing so hard he
rolls of his bed. Liam looks like he’s
waiting for the “just kidding”. It doesn’t come. “I never thought I’d see the day
when Harry Styles fell in love. With just one girl anyway.” He says with a
smirk. “Shuddup.” I say still on Louis’s
back. I fell the heat rise to my face. “I can’t be in love with her, I just met
her.” “Okay, you just dreamt of her.”
Louis compromises. The rest of the boys let out a chorus of “ooooooooooo”s “Can you let me up now?” Louis asks. “Do you not understand the meaning
of ‘never’, Louis?” I say without moving. “Let me see…” He pretends to think
for a moment. “Nope. Not in my internal dictionary. But I did find a saying
that goes something like ‘never say never.’” “I thought that was a Justin Beiber
song!” Niall cries incredulously. “That too, Niall.” Liam consoles
him. “The question is, boys: how are we
gonna reunite our Haza with his one true love?” Louis says, directing the
conversation away from JBiebs. “We could snap our fingers and make
her magically appear.” Zayn suggests sarcastically. “If only.” Lou grumbles, realizing
that this was gonna take more work than he originally thought. “We could Google her.” Niall says,
reaching for his stash of crisps. The bag opens with a pop! and soon he is
crunching away on potatoy goodness. We all stare at him and eventually he feels
our gaze and turns to us. “What? You guys are all looking at me as if you just
realized that I’m a genius.” “It’s not that Niall. We all just
realized that you had something going on in that head of yours other than ‘FOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!’” I tease. He throws a
pillow at me and it hits me square in the face. “Hey! Watch it mate!” By this point Liam has already
turned on his laptop and is merrily searching the web. “Arianna…” he says as he
types it into the search bar. “What’s her last name?” “Jackson.” I tell him as I move to
see the screen. This requires me getting off Louis so he breathes a sigh of
relief and mumbles something like ”at least you don’t have a boney butt.” I
wonder how Liam could have possibly forgotten her last name. There are a lot more Arianna
Jacksons in the United States than you’d think. Its’ a pretty rare name, but we
found eight. And those eight all had multiple social media accounts and were
all in newspapers and everything else that could possibly be online. Mean while, Louis goes into another
round of “Ari and Harry sitting in a tree” and Niall exclaims “Your names
rhyme!” “Found her.” Liam finally
announces. He shows me the computer for confirmation. “Yep, that’s her.” I
agree. My heart starts thumping so loud that I’m pretty sure the whole band
could hear it. It’s a Facebook page and we search
it for any clues on where she live or an email address or a phone number.
Nothing. But there is one last hope. We search her friends and find Drew’s
page. And on it is Drew’s phone number. “No.” Louis flat-out refuses. “We
are not calling her. The shock will probably kill her.” “C’mon, Lou.” I beg. “Please?” He growls and then “fine.” We hand
the phone to him. “Wait! Why me?” “Maybe cause you’re the one she was
squeezing the breath out of while bowling her eyes out. I think she’d be more
open to giving out her friends information to you.” Zayn reasons. “Fine.” Lou sighs. “You better
really love this girl.” “Thanks, Boo Bear.” © 2012 BrooklynReviews
